Quanzhou is striving to establish a dedicated freight port for Taiwan this year

This year, Quanzhou City will strive to ensure that all goods in the city can enter and exit through the Quanzhou Port, and that more goods from other cities, especially those from surrounding areas, can also enter and exit through the Quanzhou Port. This year, Quanzhou City will, on the basis of the existing two foreign trade container routes to Japan and South Korea, add two new foreign trade container routes to Southeast Asia and the Middle East. Accelerate the infrastructure construction of the Shenzhen-Shanghai and Weitou Port areas of Quanzhou Port to ensure that the Shenzhen-Shanghai and Weitou Port areas pass the national-level port acceptance in the first half of the year. Strive to start the construction of the joint office building at the port within this year; Establish a dedicated port area for freight transportation and small-scale trade to Taiwan as soon as possible; Promote the opening of new foreign trade operation sites such as Xiaocuo Port area New 70,000-ton terminal, Quanzhou Shipyard 舢 loading terminal, Fuling 300,000-ton terminal, Shihu Port Area China Oil Terminal.

In addition, Quanzhou City plans to formulate the construction plan and implementation plan for the Quanzhou Electronic Port node within this year, striving to initially build the Quanzhou node of Fujian Electronic Port within 2 to 3 years and put some projects into trial operation.
