Dongying, Shandong Province, has invested 200 million yuan to build a railway logistics terminal

Recently, the Dongying West Suburban Railway Logistics Center, which was invested 200 million yuan in construction by Dongying District, Dongying City, has entered a substantive progress stage. It is fully committed to building a railway land terminal and becoming the largest commodity and cargo distribution center and transfer station in Dongying City.

Dongying District is the transportation hub of Dongying City. The national railway Dongzhang Railway passes through its territory. Provincial Road 228 runs from north to south and National Road 220 runs from east to west. It has obvious transportation advantages and has formed a modern industrial system mainly composed of several major industries such as petrochemicals, new building materials, rubber products and warehousing and logistics. Relying on the construction of the Dongying West Suburban Railway Logistics Center, Dongying District will invest 200 million yuan within the year to complete the construction of two railway lines and supporting facilities such as freight yards and storage bases, achieving a freight throughput of 10 million tons and a profit and tax of 20 million yuan. Dongying District plans to build the Dongying West Suburban Railway Logistics Center into a large-scale comprehensive logistics park covering an area of 800 mu, with an annual throughput of 60 million tons, integrating functions such as raw material supply, coal and refined oil transportation, and bulk material distribution. It will focus on promoting production area logistics and regional logistics, supplemented by international logistics, and cover the entire Yellow River Delta within five years.
