Shidao Heavy Industry manufactures extra-large containers and ships them at our port

The port company makes full use of its equipment advantages to vigorously carry out the hoisting work of large-scale equipment, promoting the all-round and healthy development of the enterprise. Recently, three large chemical containers weighing over 400 tons each from Shidao Heavy Industry were successfully hoisted at the port.

To comprehensively carry out port operation work, while doing well in the main businesses such as containers, bulk and general cargo, and passengers, the port company also makes full use of the advantages of port equipment and strives to do well in the operation of auxiliary businesses such as the hoisting of large equipment, ensuring that the port operation always maintains a good trend. Among the three large containers hoisted this time, one of them, a super-large container weighing 230 tons, is the heaviest large-scale equipment hoisted by the port company to date. The hoisting process is rather complicated and has high safety requirements. For this reason, the port company attached great importance to it. Leaders from departments such as loading and unloading, barge transportation, and safety production came to the site in person to coordinate and guide. They formulated a detailed hoisting plan and made targeted arrangements and deployments on safety production and other matters, effectively ensuring the safe and orderly progress of the hoisting work of chemical containers.
