The first vessel's departure ceremony for the trial operation of the third phase of Shidao New Port was held

On August 27, 2015, the maiden voyage ceremony of the third phase of Shidao New Port's wharf for trial operation was successfully held amid the accompaniment of firecrackers. A 16,000-ton bulk carrier was safely berthed at a 100,000-ton general-purpose berth under the escort of a 4,000-ton horsepower tugboat at the port. Three 40-ton gantry cranes simultaneously lifted the cargo and placed it into the hold, marking the entry of Shidao New Port into a large-scale 10,000-ton wharf and making it the only comprehensive port in Rongcheng.
